Sir Speedo is a Dj who has been in the music scene since 2006, he started playing with vinyl's that he bought at Soul Candy Record Store (Rose bank) in May/31/2006. He went on to pursue his dream when he met Dj Fanta which he was introduced to by Dj Mafila, Who borrowed him his turn tables to practice how to play with vinyl's, Which he did succeed to know how to play with vinyl's. In 2008 he started playing with cdj's which he was introduced to by Dj Thapelo to him. He started getting gigs in around the inner city of Jozi. In September 2008 he met with Dj Manyesa A.K.A Dukesta and Dj Tshepo who asked him to be part of their team as they were resident Dj's at a club in Braamfontein, Johannesburg called Bliss corner. He started playing at all the Pubs, Clubs and Tarven's in around Braamfontein. He got his first break when he played at his dream place at Cappello in Newtown, Johannesburg where he played for almost 300 people, Since then he has never looked back. In 2011 he met a guy called Skinny B whom he started to play along side him, One day Skinny B asked him to join his production company called Deep Rhythm Soul Productions where he made a name for himself in the city he was born at Kimberley. Sir Speedo has become one of the most known Dj's in the city of Kimberley. He was a resident Dj at Tello's Pub and Currently a resident Dj at Motswako Carwash & Chesanyama. He has played at the following places since he started being a Dj; Bafana Bafana Tarven (Hillbrow, Johannesburg) Bliss Corner (Braamfontein, Johannesburg), Pantsula Bits (Braamfonein, Johannesburg), Simple Blues Night Club (Braamfonein, Johannesburg), Bridge Dinner (Braamfonein, Johannesburg), Gringos Tarven (Braamfontein, Johannesburg), Cappello's Pub and Grill (Newtown, Johannesburg), Sophiatown (Ghandi Square, Johannesburg), Black Diamond Night Club (Kimberley), Die Light (Kimberley), Rio Cocktail Lounge (Kimberley), Flamingo Bar 129 (Kimberley), Protea Hotel (Big Hole, Kimberley), Opium (Kimberley), Molefe's Place (Galeshewe, Kimberley), Walky's Place (Galeshewe, Kimberley), Tello's Pub (Club 2000, Kimberley), Six Place (Galeshewe, Kimberley), Phajane Cheseyama (Galeshewe, Kimberley), Hulana Cheseyama (Galeshewe, Kimberley), Sobar's Place (Pampeir Stad),Camel Rock(Kuruman), La Extravganza lounge (Posmansburg, Choppers Connexion(John Daka, Kimberley), Motswako Carwash and Chesanyama (Galeshewe, Kimberley). There are also gigs that he was featured in like; Big Pig Productions gigs called Spring Bash that took place annually at Riveto, Hot Summer Nights that was hosted by Deep Rhythm Soul Productions, Diamind & Dorings. He has also played at different private functions like Weddings, Parties and Business Awards. He played along side Mobi Dixon, Mr Cee, Dj Aero, Mo-Flava, Mlamza of poncho boys, Kg Smallz, Duke Soul (R.I.P), Mo-Molemi, Black Motion, Prince Kaybee, Vinny Da Vince, T-Deep and many more. Sir Speedo was once part of Afro Tab Movement which seeks to uplift up and coming artist in the Northern Cape. Sir Speedo looking forward to much more greater things, Like hosting a recorded radio show, More mixers, Hosting his own events, Produce his own tracks and many other things in the entertainment industry.
