Jürgen Fritz Kratzer is a Berlin-based drummer of the 1980s, known from “Billie and the Deep” and later “The Deep”, fronted by the powerful voice of Ackie Murray. The band won the German Rock Prize, toured the UK, and performed in legendary venues like Dingwalls in London and the iconic Quasimodo in Berlin
Beyond live performance, he composed with Deep Soundsystem Berlin commercial music for HIS Jeans, which aired on MTV, and scored a Dance Chart placement at #41, where the track remained for an entire summer. He also created together with Günter Auerhammer and Dirk Rafflenbeul a remix of Element of Crime’s “Sperr mich ein” under the name Deep Soundsystem Berlin
After years on stage and in the studio, Kratzer turned toward visual storytelling. A six-month journey through India led him to film sacred festivals like Mahashivaratri in Varanasi and Gorkana, capturing a world of trance, ritual, and devotion
Now in a new creative phase, he is working under the name Aviatrice, composing original music for his India footage – a poetic and deeply personal audiovisual project exploring sound, image, and spiritual resonance
