Sounds of Skygon-x

I started playing guitar at 16 and went on to play in several different bands before co-founding the project Void Obelisk. Through these experiences I developed a sound rooted in heavy, atmospheric riffs and dark, immersive textures. Since 2025 I’ve been working as a solo artist under the name Skygon-x.

As Skygon-x I write, perform, and record all instruments—guitar, synths, bass, and vocals—with Alexander Ninnig handling the drum programming, while combining organic rock elements with electronic soundscapes to create cinematic, introspective music that feels personal yet open to interpretation.

I use no AI tools and never will—everything is truly handmade, relying as much as possible on analog equipment for an authentic, tactile process.
