Hey Good People, My Name is BONGANI NTSIBANDE KNOWN AS (GENERALDADEEJAY) I was born and raised in DEVON (GAUTENG) on 1996/03/25, I went to ( NOMANEKANE Primary School) in DEVON ON 2008 I had to move from Devon TO Balfour (MPUMALANGA) That’s where I fell in love with music
I fell in love with music at the age of (15) during my time at (ISIFISOSETHU SECONDARY SCHOOL) in GRADE 9. I was fortunate to meet up with DITABA MOKEANA KNOWN AS (DJ MAVITY) who at the time was a DJ at (VAAL SEBOKENG). That’s where it all took off and I started this journey of becoming (General Da Deejay). DJ MAVITY introduced me to his cousin (THABISO MOKEANA) DJ PETRO, a former student of SOUL CANDI; I was able to learn a lot from him.
In 2011, the was a COMPETITION IN BALFOUR (BATTLES OF THE DJS) upon entering the COMPETITION I didn’t have a stage name then my brother suggested that I use his nickname (GENERAL) that’s how my stage name was created furthermore I was able to participate in that competition only to come out as a semifinalist but that gave me the strength and courage to never give up and continue to look for greener pastures and to this day I am still hustling.
The reason why I submitted my mix to (eMalahleni FM) to SHOW/ REMIND people that I am still here and I would like to be (RECOMMEND) as other local DJs I want to get more gigs and a sponsor, someone who is an event organizer. I would like to share my deepest appreciation to AARON HURLHQ for giving me his time and putting me on his concept eMalahleni Deejays Best Mixes 2020. I just want to get more gigs after lockdown. I have been a resident Dj at Klarinet Ext 3. I would like to thank everyone who supported me since the pursuit of this dream.
