First track of my album, WATER CIRCLE, first released in 1994 (part of my ELEMENTAL SERIES). The first stop on a journey through time exploring the many characteristic of water. Primal and mysterious, Ancient Ritual creates a coastal scene celebrating the origin of life shrouded in the mists of prehistory, accompanied by the haunting song of whales and the power of ancient thunder in the distance...

Since the dawn of time, our story has been inextricably bound to water. Relatively simple in its chemical structure and infinitely mysterious in its diverse contributions to the forms and functions of our world and its life, water continues to paradoxically lead us forward into an unknown future while simultaneously beckoning us back to the forgotten, primal roots of our past.
