Sashwat is a US-based DJ, producer, and label owner that has been fully dedicated to pushing high quality bass music since 2007. Since early childhood, he expanded his musical interests as a percussionist, pianist, and vocalist until he finally step foot into the world of Electronic Music in 2000 after being introduced to the psy-bient sounds of Shpongle. It is at this point which he rapidly began exploring and submerging himself into every electronic genre he possibly could.

Having played alongside Avicii, D. Ramirez, Coki, Distance, Truth, Antiserum, Roommate, HULK, Goldie, DJ Marky, 6Blocc, AK1200, Hellfire Machina, DJ Kue, Sub Swara, Kraddy, and more, and with worldwide listeners in every continent, Sashwat is one to keep an eye on in the future of low frequency bass music.

Sashwat has shown his dedication to electronic music by putting out a monthly mix without fail since 2007. These mixes showcased countless genres such as dubstep, garage, deep/progressive/electro house, trance, techno, breaks, downtempo, drum and bass, psychedelic, and more. In 2009, these monthly mixes began airing consistently on the Digitally Imported Drum & Bass channel until he officially began his infamous Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz radio show in January of 2010, which coincided with the launch of the Digitally Imported Dubstep channel.

A year later, in December of 2010, Sashwat expanded his Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz radio show into a bass music label, which focuses on a wide variety of forward-thinking sub-genres. Since its birth, the label has been delivering some massive releases, always keeping listeners on their toes eager to hear the next slew of unique soundscapes. The label's releases have received support from the likes of Skream, Funtcase, Downlink, Matty G, NumberNin6, Brown & Gammon, J:Kenzo, DJ Wonder, DJ Allbury, Distance, Von D, Eptic, Genetix, Riskotheque, LOST, and Mat The Alien, just to name a few.

In 2012, Sashwat was promoted to the position of Channel Director for both Digitally Imported Dubstep and Digitally Imported Liquid Dubstep. He hand-picks the content that airs on both channels, catering to thousands of listeners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
