Sounds of Sarah Zee

Sarah Zee is a South African DJ and sound curator based in Gauteng, with a sound that moves between Afro House, Afro Tech, House, Deep House and 3Step. Her sets are shaped by thoughtful music selection, seamless transitions and a strong sense of the atmosphere around her.

Born and raised in Acornhoek, Mpumalanga, Sarah began her DJ journey in 2024 and has since performed at corporate and private events, lifestyle venues and nightlife spaces. Her mixes have also been featured on Radio 2000 FM, Munghana Lonene FM and Tshwane FM.

For Sarah, music is a way of creating connection. It can set a mood, bring people together, evoke memories and give people the freedom to simply be present and move. Her approach is centred on creating sound experiences that complement each space while showcasing the richness and diversity of South African and African music.
