Dj and Music Producer from Norway.
The name Sandvik bros. comes from an old collection of tunes made by me Roger Sandvik together with my twin brother Øivind. Now I still use the artist name Sandvik bros.(brothers) but all of the tunes made the last decades is me (Roger), but I continue using our name Sandvik bros. as an homage to honour our longlife friendship. I was born in the 1980's in Sarpsborg Norway and grew up in the early era of electronic music.
I started djing in -94 on a local club and have since then played at various parties and events.
In 2004 I took a long brake from djing and started to create trance music in my home studio using software from Propellerhead Reason.

In 2005 I created a remix of the trance artist Lagoona! who was very successfull back in late 90's when the good old mp3.com was available for unsigned artists to share their free music to millions of people.
The remix was of their song "Always in my heart" who I got big credits for by one of the former Lagoona! members.

I got airplayed on national radio with my song "Theme from Femund" in 2006 and got playd on a popular tv-show hosted by a radio station called NRK mPtre.

I started entering remix contests, and my first remix was of Nordic Ray - Summer breeze.
Then following up by remixing two songs by Lionex feat. Gonna.
But there was in the remix contest for the well known artist Ace of Base I started to get some really great feedback for my work.
It came out on 24 out of 150 remixers!

Then I got contacted by the artist Daji Screw who was running a remix competition trough Be-nice Records USA who I won out of 101 remixes!
The winning price was a record deal with Be-nice Records USA.

In the later years I started to take a lot of masterclass online to step up my level as an producer.
