Music and sounds of Womanski

American based DJ Womanski (a.k.a. Roman Andrejko) is originally from Bratislava where had begun spinning as a mobil DJ in the 90's using beat up pair of Technics direct drives. He had worked his way up to two prominent large scale clubs playing classic HOUSE and early TECHNO. Early on, Roman was heavily influenced by DJ Steve B, Franky Knuckles, Ben Liebrand and DMC London, but at the same time, he has tried to find his own style of selection and play unique sound, frequenting the famous Giga Records store in Wien. In 1993 after a fire in one of the clubs,killing his collection of singles, gear, and will to continue, Roman has set his sight on a brighter future in the US and has left for New York to study and work there and listen to the best DJ’s of the era such as Funkmaster Flex, Junior Vasquez, Victor Calderone, Chris the Greek frequenting the famous Webster Hall, Limelight and Tunnel. These days Roman plays a wide variety of genres and never looks back. Peace, Love, Happiness.
