Im just a 30 something guy that loves music, and I mean LOVES music. Seriously, music has been there for me in my darkest and happiest times and has made me who I am today!
My main love is Hardcore, and litstening to acid house and Detroit techno in the 80s set me up to naturally follow the sound as it evolved into Hardcore.

From this point (1991ish) I began obsessively collecting rave tapes, and a couple of years later the same with vinyls when I got my first pair of decks in 1994 at the age of 13…as I moved from tapes to cd’s and vinyls to mp3s, the love of collecting music continues to grow!
Throughout the 90’s I had 2 musical loves…

Hardcore (and everything in it…4beat/breakbeat/oldskool/freeform/gabber/trancecore etc etc)

Trance (especially the deeper more progressive sounds that the likes of Sasha/Oakenfold and Digweed were playing at the time)

My love of Hardcore has never left me, and continue to try and cram in as much variety into my hardcore mixes as possible…so will often start with breakbeat or freeform and end up on powerstomp or gabber ) as well as keeping up with Hardstyle and progressive trance.
After playing out live numerous times I found my real love of the music was for my own enjoyment, spending time on tracklists and cue point to make sure a mix was a professional sounding as possible for my listening pleasure on my Walkman, and I still follow that same ethos for drives in the car etc, and if others like my mixes too then thats a bonus!

Cheers
Andy
