For our Sarajevo Graffiti series, we met up with another fantastic writer from the city. RUTZ has been actively creating pieces on the walls for a long time, and especially in abandoned ruins and old factory buildings. His style is bright, colorful, and very elaborate. Above all, it’s incredibly versatile, many of his pieces have such different styles that at first we wouldn’t have attributed them to a single artist. And every time, they’re brilliantly executed at a high level. On various tours through the suburbs, RUTZ showed us great spray locations and graffiti hot spots that we would never have found on our own. So a big thank you to him for showing us around and helping with the Sarajevo Map. In an interview, we talked about his graffiti, his development as a writer, and the local scene.
