Dusty Old Compact Cassettes
This is my collection of cassettes that have survived over the years.
They are all gems for me. Personal audio captions of moments long gone, memories kept alive - people, places, situations ... little stories of life.
Most of these tapes where gifts and honestly, I don't always remember from whom. The information I have is not more than what is written on the cover or on the cassette label.
They were played back on a portable CD/Radio/Cassette player, connected via the headphone out jack to my computer (Microphone-in/Headphone-out jack) with a 10 meter long cable (2 pole stereo 3.5 mm male plugs). Digitalized, hoping to preserve these audio captions before they are lost to eternity, the recordings are as is.
Hope you can enjoy the glitches, snaps, crackles and pops. They're genuine.
If these tapes are not quite your thing, thanks for listening! This is my "Thank You" to the folks I'm following and to those members of the community, who've honored me with their following. Go check 'em out.
If you enjoyed it, then that makes at least two of us. You're welcome to come by again at a later date and listen in once again. With a bit of luck, I may have discovered and posted more gems in my collection by then.
