A CENTENARY CELEBRATION OF NAT KING COLE The world-renowned guitarist and singer, JOHN PIZZARELLI, has established himself as the main contemporary interpreter of the Great American Songbook, with a repertoire that includes Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and the Beatles. Now honors the legendary singer Nat King Cole with a selection of his classics. While many of jazz greats have influenced his work, Cole has been the hero for John.

This marks the return of an artist who took a long sabbatical, but leaves everything on this album for those who dig Brazilian temptation. I think he can be easily forgiven for making us wait. After all, good wine should be allowed to take all the time it takes to be all that it can be. Such is the case of Mignola. Take a sip, and marvel at the texture.
