Olivier Velay is an influential key player in the international House Music scene for more than 20 years. After 9 years spent as A&R Manager for DISTANCE MUSIC, leading it to become one of the most successful House Music label worldwide by signing and being executive producer of hits like « Finally » by Kings Of Tomorrow and « Diamond Life » by Julie Mc Knight, he is today Manager and Owner of STALWART Recordings, a label that he founded in the fall of 2004 with DJ Rork. STALWART has released an impressive roaster of tracks and remixes from heavyweights like Earth Wind & Fire, Lenny Fontana, Joi Cardwell, Richard Earnshaw, Kentphonik, Rocco, Aaron Ross, DJ Fudge, The Layabouts, DJ Meme, Steal Vybe, etc.

Besides, Olivier Velay is also an in-demand DJ. Starting mixing professionally in 1998, he plays a wide range of music, from soul, funk, hip hop, disco to all kind of House Music. His backgrounds have included the biggest clubs in Paris (Queen Club, Batofar, Rex Club, Red Light, Club 287, Wagg, Mezzanine de L Alcazar, etc) but also overseas (London, Vienna, Miami, Estonia, Mexico, Tunisia…) alongside superstar DJs like Kevin Yost, DJ Pippi, Sandy Rivera , Roger Sanchez, DJ Deep, Rulers Of The Deep, DJ Romain, E-Man, Kiko Navarro, to name but a few. After a 9 years weekly residency at club Sanz-Sans in Paris, he moved to Hong Kong in October 2011 to take a multiple DJ residency at the Armani Privé Club, Aqua Spirit bar and Tivo restaurant, owned by the Aqua Group.
