Kamohelo Ngakane, widely recognized as Young Simba The DJ, is a burgeoning artist, DJ, and producer hailing from Soweto. He received his education at Kgotso Primary School and Senaoane Secondary School, also subsequently pursued his tertiary studies in Popular Music at SWGC. He developed a profound passion for music from an early age. His mother, during her youth, was an esteemed church and choir vocalist, while his father cultivated his skills as a disc jockey. Consequently, Simba's formative years were imbued with an ardent love for music. In 2009, he embarked on a journey of comprehensive exploration into the realm of music, and by 2019, he had honed his skills as a disc jockey. Finally, in 2020, he wholeheartedly pursued his aspirations in the field.

From the years 2019 to 2021, Simba diligently released a series of mixtapes with the intention of cultivating a devoted fan base and garnering recognition. In the year 2020, he embarked upon the journey of acquiring production skills, which eventually led to the release of his inaugural collaborative extended play, aptly titled "Magic," in conjunction with his esteemed elder cousin, TA Mbuckz Djy. Simultaneously, Simba persisted in expanding his knowledge and expertise in the realm of music production, culminating in the triumphant unveiling of his very own solo extended play, appropriately christened "Two Spin." Despite lacking management and assistance, the upcoming independent artist has achieved remarkable success following the release of two EPs and 9 singles in 2022/2023. This impressive collection consists of 1 EP and 9 singles, resulting in a substantial number of streams across numerous countries. During the initial months of 2024, the artist unveiled his single titled "9:31PM" and subsequently released one of the tracks from his debut album "Izibuko," featuring Yolanda. Additionally, he has plans to release his debut album "Poetic Melodies" in the middle of the year 2024. Furthermore, he has been actively producing music beyond the scope of his album.
