Roland Mc303 and 505 in the late 90s. Used last experience with a Roland MC909 for 2 EPs and old 16bit sounding machines.
Tom Stubbs published 2 EPs on the same day SPACE and Structure in 2018 after a 16-year break from creating and listening to techno to demonstrate that he could sell music on significant platforms like Spotify and Itunes using just one piece of near-vintage 16bit hardware, the renowned Roland MC909.

Once released Stubbs finished his final track (Lovebeat feature on this EP) and then rapidly sold his 909 and moved on to creating minimal, melodic and ambient (to be published October 2019) using a Mac and music software and never looked back Now in his 40s Tom Stubbs publishes his recent EP of darker, minimal, layered with bleeps and flyby background impacts.

Stubbs says it is like himself for the elderly who can not adapt to contemporary techno EDM styles or large crowd pulling super-star techno dj's .
