The unsuccessful RPM Challenge in 2009 had two songs that weren’t disgustingly bad. I uploaded a version of one the other day. This is the other. Nothing really noteworthy here. I had a new harmony on the first chorus that I during the mix I decided I didn’t like. I didn’t remove it, I just turned the dry signal in the reverb almost all the way down. It’s still there, but what you hear is just a short reverb. That made me feel clever.

Rhythm guitars are a Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s into a Mooer E-Lady into a Ryra the Klone into a Fender Bassbreaker 15. Leads are the same guitar and amp but the pedals are the Ryra into a Wren and Cuff Super Russian.

Verse 1
early morning no sun in the sky
undergrounded sleep still in my eyes

Verse 2
buried alive I try to create
silently creeping the morning awaits

Chorus
hard at work in the underground
trying to dig out the right sound
is it ready to be found
is there anything around?
