In 2014 I finished the RPM Challenge at the end of February and then did another album in a month in March… and in April… and so on for the rest of the year. This was from April (I think) and I was literally asking myself what the hell I was doing. Then I just kept doing it.

The arrangement here is the same as the original but the tempo is a little faster. Everything else is just about the same, I think.

The guitar tracks are all Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s into a Fender Bassbreaker 15. For pedals, the rhythm tracks used a Dunlop Crybaby wah into a Ryra The Klone into a Keeley D&M Drive. The leads used a Real McCoy Custom RMC10 wah into the Ryra into a Wren and Cuff Super Russian.

Intro
Feel it coming
is it overkill

Verse 1
Yesterday I was thinking about it
All the things we’ve done
Through the ringer again and again
but not the only ones

Verse 2
something happens when we get to it
we want to make it last
we extend it we won’t stop
don’t let it end so fast

Chorus
it might be overkill but we don’t care

Verse 3
try to keep it the whole year through
don’t let the feeling fade
keep working keep plugging along
don’t let it slip away
