Each journey is filled with unpredictable, contagious grooves and melodies crafted from a vault of inspiration across her travels and culturally diverse music history.

With her mix of Brazilian and German DNA, Monica is blessed with the best of each culture, a hybrid influence permeating into her music. Infectious rhythmic grooves and deep atmospheric melodies blend together to craft a deeply introspective series of moments that speak to the very depths of your soul. She started her DJ career playing records at the legendary Sao Paulo club LOV.e and soon after became a resident DJ at the iconic and awe-inspiring ‘Skye’ rooftop; played at raves festivals as ‘Megavonts’ – Brazil’s first open air and at D-EDGE among many others clubs. She has toured Europe, Asia, Middle East, Brazil, Japan and the USA playing at various terraces, poolside parties, clubs and exclusive events. Monica has collaborated with Dan Berkson & James What on ‘Onika’ from their album 10 Year Retrospective on Poker Flat Recordings featured on RA and Discogs, and played alongside legends such as DJ Mau Mau, Carl Cox, Bloody Mary, Steve Lawler, Josh Wink, Thomas Schumacher, Darius Syrossian, Robert Owens as well sharing decks with the legendary Joe Le Groove.
Monica moved to London in 2005 to study Music Technology and Production and immediately immersed herself in the highly influential east London underground scene parties of FUSE, playing at Brixton Academy, The Coronet Theatre, EGG Club, 1001 and the 02 Arena- along with residencies at the legendary ‘Caligula’, ‘Discophobia’ and ‘Hysteria’ parties.
Monica’s connection with the spirit of dancefloor embodies a sound that runs deeply and is embraced by those who move exponentially. Her DJ sets span the spectrum of the 'techno sphere' creating an endless revolution. Berlin has been a new home, with Monica returning to the studio producing her first solo EP and upcoming exclusive Live shows. Be prepared for an enigmatic musical experience, a seamless voyage from the deepest minimal sophisticated house to the most intimate and raving techno of course with a Brazilian twist.
