In celebration of Hip Hop's greatest producer, DJ Premier, in month of his birth, I'm dropping this rewoking of a track from actor Tristan Wilds. In 2013 He relased a surprsingly good album, New York: A Love Story, under the alias Mack Wilds. The album has a throwback feel to late 90's with mixture of early 2000's style.

In my rework of his single Own It I laced it with a sample E.V.A. by Jean-Jacques Perrey, the very sample Premo used with his classic Gangstar track Just to Get A Rep. The original track uses a sample of Biz Markie's Make The Music.
