It’s a good thing we were able to finish this and get it to you today before the new release bin was overwhelmed with a bevy of outstanding new and historic recordings. Already episode #252 is guaranteed to be jam packed. That said, it doesn’t make this edition any less worthy. New recordings from Lenny Kravitz (honoring his dear friend Prince), Vinyl Kings, Mod Sun, Tivon Pennicott, the return of The Chameleons, Blitzen Trapper, Tim Easton and The Libertines best song ever (IMO) provide the spice in concert with library offerings from Elliott Smith, John Lennon, T. Hardy Morris & the Outfit, John Martyn, American Music Club, unreleased live Justin Currie, Gang of Four, Minutemen, The Gaslight Anthem, The Replacements, Garland Jeffreys, Ian Hunter, The Lotus Eaters, The Wonder Stuff, Bob Mould, Buzzcocks, Tommy Keene, Nils Lofgren, Marshall Crenshaw and more bring everything together.
