"We’re doing a quiet set today"

Over the past few weeks, I've been touching Coil's Live Archive again. Listening to and watching the live performances always opens a new perspective on the work of any band, unfortunately I didn't attend one of Coil's gigs back then. On youtube.com/@livecoilarchive1458 you will find lots of live footage from their approx. 50 live gigs, some of them have officially been released on the Colour Sound Oblivion DVD set. Absolutely fantastic!

For the sets I focussed on the official audio recordings, namely Live Four, Live Three, Live Two, Live One, Megalithomania, Selvaggina Go Back Into the Woods and, finally, … and the Ambulance Died in His Arms. Although an audio set cannot replace a live gig or a video recording of it, I hope that the 'live feeling' comes across as well as possible.
