New Kwaito, G'qom (Durban House Music), AmaPiano and a third Mid-Tempo Romance Mix!!

Continuing in the spirit of Valentine's Day, we take a trip back to the early 90s with the US and UK R&B and House hits given the Mid-Tempo Remixes.

Despite the boycotts from the major record labels, due to the Apartheid era, some South African DJs found ways to obtain International hits and bring them back to South Africa to make cover version or Mid-Tempo remixes by slowing the Beats Per Minutes from 110-120 to 95-100.

Enjoy the slow, jazzy, danceable, and often romantic hits from International Acts such as Black Box, Inner City, and Sidney Youngblood remixed by South African DJs and Producers (who would later become Kwaito and South African House Stars) such as Wayback House (Oskido), Energy Remix (M'du), and The Champions (Trompies)!
