Sounds of Legendary Roland K. Syria (Maestroland the DJ, Engineer, Prophet)

The Audio Light Club   ))   New Jersey, USA

HOT OFF THE PRESS is "The Audio Light Club" with the Legendary Roland K. Syria (Maestroland the DJ, Engineer, Prophet).

This native of New Jersey began his life’s journey as a young musician in Jersey City, New Jersey. His journey began as he mastered the trumpet in the marching bands and orchestras of the city’s educational system. In addition, he played with a local band doing various events and backing up vocal groups such as Tomorrow’s Edition.

After arriving at Rutgers University’s Livingston campus, he was inducted into the broadcasting arena at their then cable carrier station WRLC-AM. As it was, the guitar player of a local band, whose drummer was the son of James Brown, gave him an invitation to join their endeavors and the rest is now history. In December 1975 with the band’s public address system, a small collection of vinyl and two turntable setups at Douglass campus birthed the mobile experience and history again was made.

Between the radio station and the mobile DJ episodes for the campus organizations, his second semester launched the career of this music programmer. As a result of major promoters bringing concert events with major label artist to the campus venue, he played for those in attendance. This brought attention to other venue promoters and club owners.

It was not until the transfer of a Brooklyn College student to Rutgers that the real connection was made. His new friend introduced him to the New York market place of entertainment, music & engineering industries which eventually brought him into the arena of Richard Long and his club system designs. This was how the love for the audio/sound technology got even more embraced. After taking an electronic course at a vocational center, it was further discovered that there was a hidden talent for technology. So, now we have the DJ that meets the engineer.

As it was, entertainment facilities in the northern Jersey communities assisted with the next leg of his musical journey. Eventually setting a standard in both entertainment and mobile arenas, he became a major force to the social experience.

As life would have it, he took a hiatus from the entertainment arena to return back to broadcasting while maintaining mobile for DJ, lighting, sound and video presentation systems. For approximately two decades, he focused on the creation of “The Audio Light Club” radio broadcast which pioneered the most progressive musical formats known to man. As a pioneer of the urban gospel musical experience, once again he sets the standard for terrestrial/internet radio and the social market place while again making history. Catch him on the web.

Simultaneously, a creative path began at the manufacturing level of aerospace technology only to set the stage for audio visual technologies as a specialty. With a specialty for audio visual technologies and music programming, this AV technician, gospel house DJ, engineer, Master of Ceremonies, and radio personality has developed into a specialist of design, installations, production and service of audio visual and integrated system technologies.
We introduce to some and present to others the broadcaster Roland K. Syria, Minister of Audio Visual Technologies (aka Maestroland the DJ, Engineer, Prophet).
