Bob Dai is all about Dance music. Nepalese brought up in Darjeeling. While in his early days, he used to play and collect old skool hip hop, because he was highly influenced by turntablist. At that time, most of the people understood Djing means two turntables and that skratch sound. Gradually he changed his taste of music, started playing House. He learned djing from one of the highly trained dj, Gautam Das Shrestha previously known as “Dj Gatty” trained in Mumbai. At 2006 he learned Djing, a basic fast track courses. Threw some parties in Darjeeling West Bengal, India. There were no clubs there, so it was difficult for him to perform. Finally, they managed to throw an event, with the support from X NPS. Hip Hop and R&B was a mainstream at that moment, so they named a party as "Bling". The event was massive, gradually people started noticing. Then Bob Dai left Darjeeling, came back home (Kathmandu, Nepal). Started playing at a club called “Babylon” but he didn’t like the place and the club's management, then he had to leave. In 2009 he formed a project called as a “Housemafia Project Ktm” and there were 3 members, Shankar, Manish and Bob Dai himself, they threw many events in the city (Kathmandu). Now, this is his own brand-new solo project called “Bob Dai”.
