Lars was born in Amsterdam in 1979. Already on a very young age, he was interested in a variety of music styles, watching MTV at the age of 5 in a time that MTV actually broadcasted music videos.

He started DJ-ing with proper equipment when he was 15. In those years he learned to play in a variety of styles at various locations such as the local pub, weddings, company events, residencies in a few clubs and also corporate events. Biggest gigs were the Heineken music hall for 6000 people and at an outdoor farmers party for 15000 people. He then decided to focus on studying and his family and had to give up DJ-ing.

However, you can take a man out of House, but you can’t take House of the man. He bought some decks again a couple of years ago and as the kids have grown now, he is re-entering the scene with full speed ahead.

He is now known as LuxNL, a DJ having a focal point in House, but likes to use a variety of adjacent music styles like disco, uk garage, tech house and others as seen fit to create those special moments. You might already have seen LuxNL on stage before in the Netherlands, Malta, or some weeks ago in London. Having been on gigs with Armin van Buuren, Low Steppa, Crusy and many more, bookings are increasing, so chances are you will be able to see him somewhere soon.
