Ibiza-based DJ and producer Luigi Rossi has been a passionate force in the electronic music scene since he began spinning records at underground warehouse parties at the age of 14. Growing up in a musical family, Luigi started playing drums at the age of 6, which laid the foundation for his deep love for techno and house music. Over the years, he has crafted a signature style characterized by obscure, minimalistic groovy beats, mixing vinyl and digital records to create a unique sound experience.

Relocating to central Italy, Luigi started performing in clubs across the country. His journey ultimately led him to Ibiza in 2005, where he became an integral part of the island's underground music scene. In 2008, he began hosting his own events while performing at renowned venues, including Delano, Bora Bora, Blu, Es Paradis, Kiss, Grial, Es Vive, and Somni.

Luigi began performing under the alias "DG Star," gracing esteemed venues like Privilege for the Warung Wednesday parties, as well as popular beach clubs such as La Plage and Delano.

Driven by his passion for the underground scene, he launched the "Ice Cubes" event series at Blu Ibiza. During this time, he also became a resident DJ at the Blackout Party, one of the most alternative and celebrated events in Barcelona, held at Club M7. The Blackout Party was later celebrated on a special occasion at the renowned ROW14 in Barcelona, further cementing Luigi's influence in the city’s underground scene.

Luigi released his debut track "Speaking of Love" as DG Star in collaboration with Monkey1 on Freaky Vibes Records. The track garnered significant attention and was re-released on vinyl with a new remix, reaching #13 on the decks.de minimal chart.

Upon returning to Ibiza, Luigi initiated a new monthly event at Sankeys Ibiza, where he continued to perform regularly.

After moving to Berlin, he launched the "Together in the Dark" radio show, which gained international recognition and led to tours in countries such as Russia, Hungary, Spain, Germany, South America, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland. The success of the radio show inspired him to turn "Together in the Dark" into a monthly event in Berlin, with special editions hosted on various occasions in Russia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

Ultimately drawn back to Ibiza by the island's unique energy, Luigi began hosting the “WIP” radio show on Pure Ibiza Radio 97.2 FM and became a resident DJ for the respected "Game Over" brand. His residency includes performances at various venues and at "One Night Stand" events, previously celebrated at iconic clubs like DC10, Amnesia, and Pacha, and now hosted at Eden.

Luigi has established himself as one of Ibiza's most underground and alternative music DJs. In his analog studio, equipped with drum machines and synthesizers, he crafts his tracks from scratch, focusing on creating original sounds rather than following trends. This dedication to authenticity and innovation has solidified his place in the Ibiza scene, where he continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.
