Lobster Dee hails from Queenstown in the Eastern Cape. His journey into music began in 2011 when he first touched Pioneer CDJs—an experience that instantly ignited a lifelong passion for DJing. He cut his teeth at a small but vibrant club in Polokwane, Limpopo, known as Flipside, where he began shaping his sound and stage presence.

From there, Lobster Dee went on to rock the decks at various venues across Polokwane and Pretoria, including News Café (Pretoria), Hatfield’s Social Club, Bel Air, Montecasino’s Club Cantare, and Lavianto Lounge, among others. His ability to read a crowd and seamlessly blend genres has earned him respect across diverse audiences.

A highly versatile DJ, Lobster Dee specializes in House music (across most sub-genres), while also delivering solid selections of Kwaito, Hip Hop, Soul, and R&B. He is the founder of Raw Beat Experience Entertainment and currently operates as a freelance DJ.

At present, Lobster Dee is focused on releasing his own original music. Deeply rooted in House music culture, he regards House as his heritage—an influence that allows him to confidently navigate and perform across any House sub-genre, driven purely by passion and love for the sound.
