Sounds of Leon Licht

Leon Licht was born in 1988 in Berlin. At the age of 9 he discovered electronic music via German music television. His first self-bought CD was ´Loveparade 1998´ in the age of 10. Leon played drums for nearly 10 years and used to play in a few new metal and punk bands. After finishing highschool in 2007, he was nuts about clubbing. He went out every night from Monday to Sunday, met new people, DJs and club promoters and grew a solid base of nightlife connections. In 2009, Leon promoted his first party at Berlin's VCF club, where he became a resident DJ in 2010. Further on, he organised partys at Hoppetosse, K-PAX and VCF.

Recently Leon has worked for OFF-Recordings and is currently working as a journalist for the music magazine Freshguide. As a DJ, he has played at almost every known club in Berlin including Kater Holzig, Watergate, Wilde Renate and Golden Gate. In 2012 he became resident DJ at Sisyphos Club.

Playing a variety of electronic music, Leon Licht catches the groove at nearly every point of the party. He enjoys spinning smooth deep house tunes around 120bpm, which can be dark and gloomy or cheesy and trashy. At peaktime he fires hard knocking tech house grooves or even massive techno bombs at the crowd with a soft spot for progressive techno and cosmic tunes.
