Kopano Morobane, also known as Koppz Deep, is an Amapiano producer/DJ from Daveyton in the East Rand of Johannesburg, South Africa. Growing up in a musical family with large influences from his father, who was part of a band and played drums, he built a foundation for his production skills and passion for music. Koppz Deep’s sound is inspired by music from jazz legends like Jimmy Dludlu, Sipho Hot Stixx Mabuza, and deep house icons like Dukesoul, incorporating groovy percussions.

Koppz Deep began his first projects in 2016 producing deep house music but soon caught the Amapiano bug. Initially rooted in deep house, he merged the two styles, which shaped his unique sound and versatility in Amapiano. His approach provides Amapiano purists with authentic works that remain true to the creative process, never compromising on quality.
