DJ Kgaphola, born Khomotso Kgaphola is a deep and soulful house DJ born in Jane Furse, Limpopo and is currently based in Midrand on the central of Johannesburg.
He began his deejaying journey as a bedroom DJ in the late 2000s using computer/PC(Controller) and later moved on to using CDJs.

Kgaphola’s popularity behind the decks started to grow after he started his live streams on social media, and the recognition led to him deejaying at some clubs/Restorbar’s around his
neighbourhood. The money he made from paying gigs afforded him to the opportunity to re-invest in his craft in the form of buying music and a professional Djing gear.

DJ Kgaphola unique blend of deep and soulful house music soon attracted the
attention of some promoters and DJ locally and internationally, where he got himself some gigs outside the country (Swaziland), His repertoire of “expensive” music gradually built him a following and new friends. He started his podcast called Kool Vibes, which is becoming one of the most loved deep and soulful house podcasts around the globe.

He shared the stage with his childhood inspirational DJ's, the likes of Vinny Da Vinci, Glen Lewis, DJ Christos, Miggs for Real, DJ Malankane and many more.......
