A babe of the 70ies, a child of the 80ies. Kevin Klein was early influenced by electronic sounds. When he discovered his favor for dub, theme and synthetic music. Acts like Paul Hardcastle, Kraftwerk or later Prodigy in the early 90ies had a massive influence.. Cruising through the local clubs and raves, he got fascinated more and more by the technical performance and presenting of music by Deejays, So, it was just a matter of time, two innocent turntables and a little mixer found their way to the ambitioned electronaut. Soon he was invited to his first gigs. A small Outdoor Rave in a Querry was an impressive experience. The same as the legendary THE BOAT party on the Baldeney lake, Essen.
Kevin Klein saw the great potential in the fast growing scene and initialized his first own parties. to build up his own platform. After a short time he worked out a clearer concept and started finally his famous DATA 69 party series at Wuppertal, Germany in 1999. Beside famous guest deejays like Thomas Schumacher, Mike van Dijk, Oliver Huntemann, Timo Maas, Oliver Klein, Nathalie de Borah, Melanie di Tria, to name but a few, Kevin Klein also invited new talents. Many new names got the chance to proof their skills.. Some of them are still part of the little DATA 69 family.
Kevin Klein still rocks through the clubs with his so very unique grooving vibes. So be surprised what happens in the near future...
