Kev Dee’s favourite record label mix series has began. Kicking off with the first record label he came to know and love: Large Music.

As a youngster, Kev Dee consumed a great deal of time learning house music compilation booklets, reading about the artists, labels, how the music is made and the whole process from studio to his hands. He first came into contact with Large Music (then called Large Records) through compilation CDs released by the legendary House Afrika Records. Vinny Da Vinci’s “House Afrika: Deep House Sounds”, Iggy Smallz “Solantis Spice: Another Late Night Sensation” and others, were quite instrumental during that time. This Chicago label discovered and distributed some of the best House Music that came to define the 90s, and secured (now legendary artists) careers of Dennis Ferrer, Kerri Chandler, DJ Rasoul, Miguel Migs, Julius Papp & more.

Kev Dee compiled and mixed a significant 2 hours tribute mix, exhibiting the labels hits and gems. Please sit back & enjoy this impeccable mix of the music that made you fall in love with house music.

i.e. these are songs from 1997 - 2004 (significant years due to the fact: 1997 is the year Kev Dee’s passion for djing began and 2004 is the year he actually became one)
