Pulsatrix

by J'owl

Multi-instrumentalist Jason Chamberlain is no stranger to sonic experimentation and his latest project, J'owl is no exception. Combining elements of industrial, hip-hop, and jazz; J'owl creates a sonic collage that can only be described as cyberpunk jazz.

Using the saxophone as his voice, set against a backdrop of electronic beats, J'owl sets out to paint the story of a dystopian world in which a lone musician strives to make his way in the seedy underbelly of the technologically advanced metropolis he calls home, all the while assisting a resistance group in their fight against the corporate controlled government that has begun to decay from the corruption within.

Pulsatrix, the debut release from Seattle producer; J'owl, is the first cyberpunk jazz extended play to be released exclusively as a sticker. The EP is due out on November 21st 2015 through local art conglomerate/label, Kylmyys Kollective.

Purchase of the the "Pulsatrix" sticker will give immediate access to download the six-song extended play.
