Liebe Freunde, Schurken, Spitzbuben, Wald und Wiesen Banditen,

wieder ist ein Jahr seit meinem letzten DJ-Set "Targa" vergangen. Die Welt ist aber kein Stück besser geworden. Leider sind nun noch mehr machtversessene Verbrecher an den Hebeln der Macht und bestimmen das Weltgeschehen. Manchmal bekommt man das Gefühl eine weltpolitische Krise reiht sich an die nächste. Ich habe mich mal wieder über's Wochenende zurückgezogen um dem ganzen Wahnsinn für einen Moment zu entgehen. Es ging also mal wieder nur um meine alte Liebe „Deephouse“. Herausgekommen ist ein ca. 80-minütiges Deephouse DJ-Set.

Der erste Teil nimmt dich wie so oft bei mir mit auf die Reise in die sphärischen Tiefen des Raumes. Dabei habe ich wieder festgestellt, dass die tiefen Tracks einfach einen besonderen Platz in meinem House Mikrokosmos einnehmen. Der zweite aufbauende Teil des DJ-Sets ist dieses Mal etwas kürzer gehalten. Er stellt aber wieder die konsequente treibende Brücke zum dritten Teil den Club- und Floor-Tracks dar. Auslaufen lasse ich das neue Set mit zwei deepen Tracks, die den Kreis schließen.

Optischer Pate für mein neues DJ-Set ist der Stiefbruder eines aus deutschen Kinderbüchern bekannten Räubers. Mit dem Unterschied zur Buchvorlage ist "Plotz Bubatz“ ausschließlich darauf bedacht ein wenig Gras für seinen Eigenbedarf von den Reichen zu stibitzen, um sich dieses dann genüsslich bei fetten deepen House Beats rein zuziehen, um so das Leben im hier und jetzt zu genießen.

Räuber Plotz Bubatz ist also ein süffisanter Augenzwinker-Lebemann mit dem richtigen Blick für die kleinen Genüsse des Alltags, wie man es sich in schweren Zeiten von so manchem seiner artverwandten (Anführer-) Schurken auf ganz großer Weltbühne für ein besseres Miteinander auf diesem Planeten nur wünschen würde!

Dear friends, bon vivants, rascals, forest and meadow bandits,

another year has passed since my last DJ-set "Targa". Meanwhile the world hasn't gotten any better. Unfortunately, even more power-hungry criminals are now at the levers of power, dictating world events. Sometimes it feels like one global political crisis follows another. I retreated again for a weekend to escape all this madness. So, i was back to my old love, "Deep House."

The result is an approx. 80-minute Deep House DJ-set. The first part, as is often the case with my sets, takes you on a journey into the ethereal depths of space. I've once again realized that deep tracks simply hold a special place in my house microcosm. The second building part of the set is a bit shorter this time. However, it again provides the consistent, driving bridge to the third part, the club and floor tracks. I'll close my new set with two deep tracks, bringing it to full circle.

The visual inspiration for my new DJ set is the stepbrother of a robber known from German children's books. Unlike his book counterpart, "Plotz Bubatz" is solely focused on stealing a little weed from the rich for his own personal use, which he then enjoys smoking to fat, deep house beats, thus savoring life in the here and now.

Robber Plotz Bubatz is a sly, tongue-in-cheek bon vivant with a keen eye for the little pleasures of everyday life, the kind of person one wishes many of his fellow villainous leaders on the grand world stage would be in tough times, all in the name of a better coexistence of humans on this planet!
