JELO is a Canadian prime of Electronic Music. For 2 decades, from 1995-2015, he was on tour rocking dance floors and pushing a sound best described as explosive. His style of music and presentation is unique and anyone who's partied to his sets would swear to it.Armed with the latest sounds, tech-tools and an infectious visual headbang, JELO makes you dance. His tireless desire to spread joy through music compels him to perform a magical, hard-hitting style that inspires dance floor partiers to push their limits. No two performances are alike and that's proven each time JELO hits the mixer. In Venues or Festivals, big or small, the sensation is always a full blown spectacle. Since the inception of JELO, clubs & parties across the globe have taken a cue from his incorporation of the spiciest elements of Electro House, Progressive, Techno, Trap, Glitch and Rock blended with wild mixing abilities. With over a decade of touring, JELO has evolved from a DJ to a live remixer and stadium performer. JELOs productions rock floors, cars and mp3 players worldwide and his music has been played by DJs like Pete Tong, Umek, Gareth Emery, Moguai, Kill The Noise, Bad Boy Bill, Morgan Page, Matt Zo, Above and Beyond, Funkagenda, Donald Glaude, DJ Dan and more. Many of Canada's top dance music producers chose to collaborate with JELO, because he has the exact notion of what moves dance floors. Some of these collaborations brought forth certified anthems such as "The Reward is Cheese", a collab with deadmau5, which became a bonafide #1 hit on beatport.com and an Electro-House anthem the world round. A secondary track with deadmau5 "Cat on a leash" was used for promotions on beatport and became one of the most downloaded free tracks ever on the site. "Donkey Punch" , with Hatiras, a top ten anthem on its own- which brought about beatports #1 breakbeat edit by Elite Force called 'M.A.D.' and then won best breakbeat track of 2011 on beatport.
"Speakerhumper", the minimal tech house slayer, which is noted as the original anti-drop track. His more recent works with Adam K. on Hotbox Digital brought forth re-edits from Krafty Kuts and "Room Mates" was signed to Funkagenda's Funk Farm Label. His remixes for Calvertron and the bumping "Nordlicht" Remix upon Bugeyed Records charted for months, then saw re-release and further charting again. JELO's work with Mexico's Dance Floor Funker, Mooij, have been explosive with signings to Spencer & Hill's Bazooka Records and SectionZ.com. His remix of Icarus Fly's hit 'Burn the sky' reached #2 overall on Trackitdown. In 2013 with a signing to SectionZ, JELO has collaborated with the genius Savant. The single, "Baddery", is absolutely incredible and is bound to turn heads for years to come. Another collab with the virtuoso saw the release of 'Derby'. Truly future music. Further endeavours see him creating a new 2 man group, Stuart Software, and their Hit 'Sugar Plum" hit #1 on Trackitdown during Christmas 2013 while trap anthem 'Drop Low' crushed sound cloud with over 195,000 plays.He's headlined major Festivals like Ultra, Burning Man, Digital Dreams, Masago Beach, WEMF, VEMF, World DJ Festival, Virgin Music Festival Toronto, Shambala, Midsummer Madness, PRiDE Toronto, Evolve, Telus World Ski & Snowbaord Festival to name a few...Currently rocking Mixcloud across genres like Techno, EDM, Breaks & Rave...this Canadian genre-less phenom is pure magic.
