Ghana Report No.24 - Emmanuel Ashie - Principal of the Christ the King of Kings School - Jamestown - [english]

The Christ the King of Kings School is located in the harbour community of Jamestown. It´s one of two schools which is trying to support the children and to give them via education more perspectives for the future. Principal Emmanuel Ashie founded the school and runs it now with governmental support. The school depends on donations and extern help. Mr Ashie is disabled and needs a electric wheelchair to get around. Nonetheless he puts all his time and effort into the school and helping the children. He uses even his wheelchair for transportation and getting learning materials, food and medicine to the school. In an interview with HITA he tells about the problems the school is facing.
