Former High School teacher, Defari has always garnered respect within the California Hip Hop scene. Although he never received the success of his peers in the Likwit Crew (Tha Alkaholiks, Xzibit, King Tee, Lootpack,etc) he's been a mainstay within Cali Hip Hop for the past 25 years. Very few emcees can claim to have worked with Dr Dre, DJ Premier, and DJ Muggs.
