Neurosonic EDM music therapy

Owner: DJ Hatton

Neurosonic is a Manchester-based DJ collective and community-led event brand delivering multi-genre electronic music experiences—house, techno, trance, DnB and more—built around a proper “journey” format, immersive visuals, and high-impact production. At its core, Neurosonic exists to champion neurodivergent creativity, reduce stigma, and create safer, more welcoming spaces in dance culture—where people can connect, decompress, and feel part of something.

Beyond events and mixes, Neurosonic is building the next chapter: a community outreach arm that takes music, rhythm and structured creativity into rehab and recovery settings, schools (including SEND/SEN support), youth services and community programmes. The aim is practical and measurable—using beat-based learning (DJ fundamentals, percussion, timing, simple production and guided listening) to support focus, emotional regulation, confidence, social connection and routine. This direction is directly informed by the lived-experience narrative and themes of the book Rezonance—connecting the story to real-world tools that help people rebuild, reframe, and re-enter creativity with support.
