GD - (Gone Dark)

GD is Gone Dark ..

GD is the alter ego of an un-nammed sucessful artist / DJ.

In the current climate of commercial dance music (shitty EDM), Jesus posing "DJ's"- Gone Dark is a rare artist.
Operating below the radar & not seeking the limelight keeps the focus on the music.
Gone Dark represents all that IS UNDERGROUND dance music:
-No huge ego.
-No social media attention grabs OR mirror gazing.
-No "Festivals "full of "EDM" fans dressed like "clowns".
-No fireworks.
-No Jesus posing.
-No stage dives.
-No microphone.

Gone Dark An atrist proud to be an early adopter of returning to sanity.....
-Creation- without endless self promotion.

The internet distraction GAME ..
Ok, Want more "followers" ?
Then stop ASKING for followers!
EARN THEM!! Put your phone away , and focus on creating a quality production. Hone your craft, become better than the NOISE
Then you will be found and followed. AND you will be promoted by your fans! Let them stay distracted, while you regain your sanity and keep rising above the noise by allowing your creativity to flow- uninturrupted.

WHAT IF ?

-"What If...as artists we focused on becoming excellent at our craft instead of playing the attention grab game?
-What if ..as artists we released the silly notion that "working hard" at obtaining large quantities of short term / plastic attention through pleasing "followers" & struggleing for"likes" on social media can somehow overcome "distracted"-thus sub par or simply average work?
What if social media "followers"are staticially proven to have less loyalty than a hungry dog- and a shorter attention span than a goldfish ?
What if..as artists- we created what we KNOW is amazing - without seeking external validation?

A true artist's work simply cannot reach full potential if the artist is bogged down by "competing" (for attention and popularity & "numbers" on the socails).

Great work will always be "found" .

What IF we said NO to complete and total distraction?
WHAT IF....?????

Peace - (GD)
