Catalogue No.: GARTEN021
Release Date: 30.4.2014

Spring has arrived. This means that Gartenhaus – as we did twice before – bring you yet another sampler - Gartenhaus Twisted Artist Vol.3. On our previous samplers we have tried to convey a soft, delicious and light atmosphere and we’d like to think we have succeeded very well. But this time we have chosen to build on a deeper, faster and meaner sound universe. The result is a 9 track sampler with familiar Gartenhaus artists as well as a bunch of brand new ones.

Gartenhaus Twisted Artist Vol.3 starts with a deep and mesmerizing track from German producer and label owner, Ante Perry. The track called "Feed the Bird" with catchy synths and delicious grooves leads on to next track of the publication. This track called "Right" is delivered by the danish producer Nandu, and is his debut release. The track is an atypical Deep House track and is built out of grooving percussion and heavy bass textures. Next, is another debutant, White Tiger. The track is called "Anyway" and this is where the sound starts to pick up its pace. With obvious inspiration from berlin, White.Tiger has managed to create his own sound, and this banger will most certainly be the hit of all primetime DJs out there. The danish Denis Horvat has been part of the crew around Gartenhaus for a long time, but this is his first release with us. The hard working producer, with release on labels like Souvenir, Noir and Get Physical has long ago joined the elite of the Danish house scene. He contributes to the Twisted Artist Vol.3 with a grooving Tech House track “Conspiracy”, which is – without a doubt in its very own league. The next track is brought to us by Gartenhaus own Leman & Dieckmann. Their track "Paranoid Instincts" has been slightly distanced from the melodic and deep universe which they have previously worked in, and instead, they contribute with a monotonous Tech House track with clear references to the Italian and Southamerican minimal sound. Dirty Culture who played at the Gartenhaus label night between Christmas and New Year 2013 is behind the next track. “Sparkling Books” is a straight up tech track that definitely makes dance floor move. Dhaze - who besides cooperating with Sabe, and working with his record label Hyper Groove – also creates solo productions in high quality contributes with the track "Hotel Rooms". A deep hypnotic track which is guaranteed to increase the intensity of the dance floor during the late hours. Nadia Popoff who diligently releases well-produced and danceable tracks on several major labels provides us with the track "Komplete Control". – A title that clearly reflects her own situation. When the party is coming to an end it is important to have track which you can really feel. The emerging Danish producer collective, Buddhahood provides the finishing touch, which undoubtedly is the perfect soundtrack to the end of the morning party, and it is called “It Starts With You” .
