Hitz FM Melbourne - Broadcast 2 final night - 9pm to 11pm - July 18, 1993

89.9 Hitz FM ran a 2 week broadcast in the school holidays of July 1993. Incredibly, the volunteer-run youth radio station started generating CD sales in local music stores - from the songs they played. Requests poured in constantly for the likes of Informer, The Hitman, Freak Me, Killing in the Name, Rump Shaker and Pressure Us.

Just 6 months after this broadcast, the team made history with their record-breaking Hitz FM 3rd broadcast.
