Hitz FM Melbourne - Broadcast 6 - Opening 30 minutes on 22nd September 1995

Hitz FM Melbourne's 6th Broadcast began at 9am on 22/9/1995. In the hour leading up to the beginning, listeners heard an audio 'test tone' - and Hitz announcer Adele Cookson calling for listener requests.

Then at 9am, it all began with a huge audio montage, followed by The Big Breakfast duo 'The Talking Man' and 'The Thinking Man'. Listen out for the 10am news bulletin, featuring news from Somalia (later to inspire the film Black Hawk Down) and the latest from the OJ Simpson trial.
