Friday 7th April, 1995 - Infamous youth radio station Hitz FM Melbourne returned to the airwaves for its 5th broadcast. This recording captures the first 4 hours of the transmission. Darryl Rae hosted the first shift from midday till 4pm. Some of the tracks featured came from Hitz Melbourne's first ever CD compilation 'The Original Hitz' which had been released a few months prior. The CD reached number 1 on the compilation chart in Victoria (where the station resided).
