COLOR ON CANVAS – THE STAKE & SOILED RELIGION – (2x) 20 x 20 cm

[DEUTSCH]: >>> Es ist für mich aus meiner Betrachtungsweise so, dass Menschen oft aus religiösen Gründen zu Schaden kommen. Also das eine Bild heißt ja übersetzt „Der Scheiterhaufen“. Tatsächlich ist es so, dass es selbst in unseren modernen Zeiten sowas noch gibt und Menschen aus religiösen Gründen getötet werden und auch Kinder geschändet werden. Das sollen die Bilder eigentlich ausdrücken. Das eine Bilder, das den Scheiterhaufen ausdrückt, also es gibt Länder, in denen gibt es das heute noch. Und das Kreuz, also im Namen des Christentums sind ja auch, also heute noch, ja…. Also ich bin kein Freund von Kirche.

In fact, even in our modern times, such things still exist and people are killed for religious reasons and even children are being violated. That's what the pictures should actually express. The one picture that expresses the stake, so there are countries in which these are still used today. And the cross, in the name of Christianity, is has been a lot in the past, ähm… and there is still a lot today, ähm yes .... So I'm not a friend of church.
