This track was made after attending some of the protests for George Floyd and racial equality. It's 2020 and in this day and age, we still have to fight for this... it's a real shame. It's sad that after years of peaceful protests it took rioting and looting in several US cities to finally get the message across that we're serious about this.
This has all really exposed the persisting racism in this country, and it's shocking how close to home you can find it, even here in LA, which is supposed to be a progressive Mecca.
Black Lives Matter. It's time they matter for everyone.
