Dj Elkay (Real Name) France "Lekang" Moreki Born on the 12th Of July 1990 at Koster Clinic,. "Lekang" started the love for Entertainment during his Matric year At Reebone Secondary School (Swartruggens) in 2008.Elkay was intriduced by His Big Brother(Thapelo Moreki) to House Music, Used to buy Cassette Tapes And come home to listen with Him. 2011 he got introduced to the VirtualDj Software, Thats when the Love for Djing Kicked in.. He learned the Software and Felt like It wasn't The Best he could do..2014 He then go introduced to the Real CDJ and Dj Mixer combo and Fell in love further. He practically tought himself and with some bit of guidance from his then Mentor (Harven Matsog Also known as M O S ) 2015 got His First Gig As A Residental Dj at a. Local Tarven(Ema Re Nwe Tavern)Thats when he started getting Gigs From neighboring Villages Like Tlokweng(Silverkraans) Vrede,Seshibitswe, Koster, Rustenburg to name a Few..2017 Saw Dj Elkay Grow a bit As a brand And He started Warking With Mamepe Events and Project Management Pty Ltd as a Dj And Promoter.. Lekang Played in Numerous Places and Events Since then even Hosted his Own annuall Shows Such As #ShortsAndShades Shandies , #AllStarVsVansParty to Name A few Succesfull ones..He is Also A Residental Dj with #LesMoEventsAndTours' Annuall Hartees Boat Cruise experiance.In 2022 Dj Elkay Was Nominated In the "Best Dj" Category on the #KgetlengAnnualAwardsCurrently He Is Head of Entaitainment At Theo's Sportsbar-Swartruggens.
