The Music Box previously known as 9C and now The Liquid Room is the biggest and by far the best nightclub / venue in Edinburgh in my opinion. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with the owner Mick over the last 30 years. I’ve also promoted events here since 1995 and played a roll in taking the venue in a new direction musically at the start of the 2000’s.

Even though I’d been DJing regularly in Edinburgh since 1990 this is the first live recording from a club in my home town. Fuzion ran every Friday featuring a blend of Scottish and English DJ’s and live PA’s.

As a DJ you always want to work with an MC who knows what to do and what not to do. Gavzie was resident at my event Pandemonium and in a league of his own back then. The majority of his lyrical content came from listening to mix tapes I gave him from events down south. In particular Top Buzz featuring the lyrical skills of Mad P.

Performing alongside Gavzie was always a great laugh, we got up-to some proper antics on our travels which you’ll be able to read about in my autobiography coming out in 2022.
