KenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenanKenan Zukan alias DJAkilah, electronic producer from Bosnia & Herzegowina, born on 12th of August in 1991. In Zenica. His first touch with music production began after falling in love with harder techno grooves and hypnotic sounds of Trance, as he couldn’t find that kind of music nowhere to satisfy his taste. At age of 15 he tries to explore and syncronise the sounds of that very different styles of music which led him to fall in love with music production. But with no expirience or any music knoweledge hes journey was tough from the beginning, so that encourages him even more to learn how to transfer his messege through his music. In a country that suffers of Post war consequences he fights his way to escape all that depression and chaos with his music, so you can feel al those mixed emotions of that period in his earlier works. Later that sound evolved in something that was new and experimental, but unfortunately For people around him that was something strange and not well accepted at first, not just with his style but with all experimental music styles, and That didn’t stopped him to be productive and to do something he admires,love and gives him peace. That period enpowers him to make his melodies more emotional and deeper but with stronger, harder and aggressive rhythm to make people easier to express and release all negativity from past and bring them joy, happines and peace. In a city with multiple industrial iron factories which makes city enviroment sound polluted he instinctly put that “pollution” in sound that he makes, and that’s the secret behind his dirty style of rhythm and percussion work. All those elements mixed with his attitude and will to make the difference gives him power to produce music without usual patterns of music arrangment and that will become his unique music signature.
He published his work on compilations and record labels such as: Underground V.I.P. traxx (Nostalgia, Sjenke), Hard b!tch records, Minimal killer traxx, Sphere records (Love for the music), Emperor rec . (Bipolar disorder, Attitude, Clouds)…
