Sounds of DJ TooNice

Siboniso Latha (artist name DJ TooNice) is a South African club Dj, Music Producer, Song Writer born at Umlazi (V Section) in Durban and breaded in Pietermaritzburg.
In 2006 he passed matric (Grade 12) at Eastwood Secondary School, and enrolled at UKZN Howard College for Honours in Environmental Management in 2011.
DJ TooNice started his music journey as a Hip Hop artist in 2005, which was later swerved to a strong interest in deejaying and producing varies sounds. He began playing at UKZN Campus events pushing the passion to greater heights each event at a time.
In 2010 he joined MystroSoul event organizing company as a resident DJ, and was later introduced to big stages like SKYBar, Delasoul, Havanna, Scallas Café, Capello and Boulevard just to mention a few. To date he has shared the decks with the likes of Rocco, Ralf Gum, Black coffee, Oskido, Heavy K, Shimza, Terrence, Tira, Andy X and many more. His mixes have been played on radio stations like Ukhozi FM, Gagasi FM and Umgungundlovu FM.

Releases: In 2013 started working on an album titled “Season of Hits”. With his friend Sina produced a few tracks and started fishing for Music Publishing and Digital Distributing Companies. The following year (2014) was a big break for DJ TooNice when he signed a contract with Smooth Agent Records Africa, which is headed by Sean Smith in Chicago (USA). They decided to drop an EP (Higher) in stores like Traxsource, Beatport and iTunes. The EP was well-received, and many DJs around the world started featuring some of his tracks on their shows and mixes. In 2018 he released another EP Titled (Shades of Deep) and it made moves on digital charts.

Achievements: In (2015) DJ TooNice won the Best DJ Award at Live Your Dreams SA Awards held in Durban Coastlands Hotel beating other 9 Dj nominees. The single titled “Asisekho Lapha” featuring Zuri, was introduced on Metro FM (I Believe) YFM (Players Club show) as well as on Gagasi FM (The Big Bang show). Current plans include releasing his complete vocal house album, shooting music videos for hit singles, and making some more great music for the fans.
